Nick Eason - you are THE MAN

Just read about his West End Zone endowment contribution in the Orange and White and was very touched. As opposed to the recent antics of the hoodlums coming out of the Cesspool in the Midlands, here's an example of someone who APPRECIATES the opportunity he was given.
Some of his quotes from the article:
"I love Clemson University. I love every IPTAY member. Those are the people who paid for me to come here."
"I come to Clemson every chance I get to see players, coaches, school teachers where I have spoken and people I know."
"I like to meet people who are Clemson supporters. If it weren't for those people, I might not have gone to Clemson. When I think of that, I shouldn't have a problem giving back to the University."
"A lot was given to me. I came to school here for free. I got to play football in front of 80,000 people and I was given an education. I believe that was a chance of a lifetime."
Nick Eason - ANOTHER man of character and class to come out of the Tiger football program and best university in the world. Continued good luck in the NFL, big man. You represent us well.

I remember when d-ham left he said he would never give a dime to CU but he loved the university, It's not TB's fault for not helping him out with scouts, it's obvious he wasn't ready.

Dham should've waited

He was blinded by the potential of making the big bucks instead of making sure he would. He left in a WR rich draft, when this year he could've been a 1st round pick. I guess those are the breaks. I still wish him success.

Nick used to come into the bar I bounced at in Clemson

He was always very respectful. He was always a class act kind of guy and always made an effort to speak to the staff and avoid trouble. I wish him all the success in the NFL.

and one night Nick Eason came over, not unusual after football games or the random thursday night. Anyways, the guys little brother out Harlem-shook (a dance) Nick Eason. Not only was the little brother like 140 pounds and 5'9", but he was white to boot. Not to hate on Nick, but if a scrawny white kid can out dance you, you need to work on the moves. Best of luck Nick. GO TIGERS!!!

of the university. Its not everyday you get a free education and to play in the nfl and front of 80,000 people. No matter what happens in his lifetime here on out. You can't take that away from him.

only two things can happen
1. You won't be able to tell who is who 2. The idiot will beat you with experience at being an idiot.

I saw him walking through Lot 5 after a game this past year. I yelled out Nick and when he turned around I knew I was right. We talked for about five minutes. He was trying out for the Cleveland Browns at the time, and he seemed to be a really nice guy. He said he comes to games whenever he can and wished he was still playing at Clemson. Hearing that from an NFL player says a lot about where his priorities are.

Nick's Blood Runneth Orange, no matter what sport it was you could look around and see Nick there supporting his fellow Tigers. I personally saw him at baseball, M/W soccer, M basketball and a few tennis matches.
Best of wishes to Nick Eason!

someone in 2005 that actually appreciates a college education and the opportunity to play college sports.
Sounds like a remarkable individual.
Wish him the best in the NFL and life.
