Brand new topic...really!

My idea is to expand college football season from 12 to 18 games. This way Football runs from late August through the end of December.

This regular season is followed by a 16 team play-off to determine the national champion. This runs through the end of January or early February.

College basketball is expanded to a 60 game schedule. It runs from early November through April. Madness becomes May, not March.

College baseball is expanded to 100 or so games. It runs from February through July wit a College world series around August 1.

Results: We have a real football champion.

Revenue is probably at least tripled if not more.

DT is reduced to about 4 days, eliminating useless flag discussions, etc.

but to the original thread

How many could afford all those games today?

I would rather see 10 games a year with a 32 team playoff using some of the bowl games.

The first two rounds being played at the higher seed home field.
