The last time South Carolina beat Clemson in football two times consecutively:

*The Viet Nam War was still going on.
*Nixon was president
*Man had only walked on the moon one time (lucky for you it was in July of '69)
*A loaf of bread cost 29 cents
*The current median age of everyone on earth is roughly 28 years. That means that over half of the earth's population wasn't even alive at the time.
*The Beatles were still together
*I was 6 years old

There are many more interesting stats, but I leave all that to the rest of the board.

it has been 14,084 days since the gas pumpers beat our football team in consecutive games...

To put 14,000 days into perspective…if you start a timeline at the beginning of World War 1 and extended it 14,000 days…you will - win WWI…enjoy over 23 years of peace…begin World War II…win WWII…enjoy almost 5 years of peace…begin the Korean War…and be within 9 months of the end of this war before you completed 14,000 days.
