Just finished first practice

It was in shorts and t-shirts. The first tailgate scrimmage of the season. It was very light, hot dogs, chips and cold beer. My wife burned a finger on the grill but she is probable. My daughter "fumbled" a cold one she is a possible redshirt. I had the longest run of the day, a mile and a half to the store for hot dog buns and a bottle of Texas Pete.
Thursday night will be a little heavier with BBQ chicken and Jim Beam. My son looks great in practice but on game day when we arrive, he has a rough time keeping his eyes and mind on the business at hand.
After this next practice we should be ready for ribs Potato salad and Knob Creek.
Go Tigers, maybe elephant ears for dessert.
