Been waiting all my life...

I was born in 1985. My earliest memory of Clemson football was the 1991 ACC Championship. I remember going to the games in the 90's to a half empty stadium. I remember being on TV maybe twice a season. Now, here we are, 8-2, and in control. I have waited my whole life for this, this one game. This is their day. This is our day. To show everyone who we are. I am so jacked up, and I'm only a fan. I can only imagine how the players are feeling. Go Tigers!

And the lack of the 80's penache has driven me nuts since '91. It's one of the reasons lots of people are hard on coaches here; we know what can be done, we had those expectations set, and it has taken a long long time to even get close to being there again.
This isn't for the ACC championship, but it's one heck of a lot closer than we've gotten in years. With it being a home game it probably surpasses the actual CG in excitement.
Let's go Tigers...prove to the ACC that the sleeping giant has finally reawoken and we are back to take our rightful place at the head of the table.

but i was there in '81 for the national championship (as a student) and this is every bit as exciting as best i can remember!

I know how you feel. I'm 32, and my first memory was a quaint 1981 contest against Georgia. I just remember the noise. Constant noise. And then everybody was very happy after the game.

and my dad was a senior at Clemson when they won the National Championship. I'm hoping that during my senior year Clemson can at least bring us home a conference champion ship. Go Tigers!
