Thanks for the Memory

Thanks for the memory
Of victory and loss
Of balls and salads tossed
We cheered our team we lived the dream
In all of Clemson’s sports
How lucky we were

And thanks for the memory
Of summers and DT
Of hating the ACC
Of taking down the Seminoles
And we all stopped to see
How lovely it was

Now since our days with Danny
The team has not been the same
But now that Tommy B is here
Looks like we’re in the game…

But thanks for the memory
Of golfing to the top
Ol’ Penley wouldn’t stop
They killed a snake with strokes to spare
They made it to the top
We thank you so much

Thanks for the memory
Though basketball is slow
OP is good to go
Recruits are here the time is near
And we still beat the holes
Oh thank you so much

Thanks for the memory
Of baseball in the spring
The social is the thing
We love the boys of summer
When they make the Coots heads ring
We’re coming… Omaha

Gone are those evenings on The Board
Together we had great fun
But now we move to a new place
