Good morning! Let's all come together as one on this great Friday!

Nov 11, 2022, 7:05 AM

If you are reading this message, you have made it another day and should thank a Veteran today and every day for that matter. Another day on Earth means another day of breath in your lungs. It is another day of Freedom in the Greatest Country on Earth, and we should thank a Veteran today and every day. Normally on Friday's us Tigers wear Orange, but today the colors Red, White and Blue are appropriate to take the place of our normal Solid Orange Friday. We have a lot to be thankful for. Every man or women who has dawned a United States Military Uniform to protect us from our enemies and provide us with the very freedom we sometimes take for granted should be thanked today and every day. Every man and women who has served so that we can live free should be thanked today and every day. Every man and women who has paid the ultimate sacrifice and are no longer with us, their families should be thanked today and every day. Every man and women who has been injured in battle or fighting for our freedom should be thanked today and every day. Whether you live in a Red State or Blue State, a big city or the plains, on the coast or in the heartlands, we owe a debt to our men and women who served that we can truly never pay off. Whether you are white or black, male or female, short or tall, skinny or husky, we all bleed red. We are all one under the banner of the Stars and Stripes. We live in a Country where democracy is a way of life, where freedom rings from sea to shining sea, where blood has been spilled to protect our rights and where the men and women of the Armed Forces made sacrifices to protect 'Ole Glory and her stars. It is more than a piece of cloth; it is a symbol that has had blood spilled on it by men and women who gave all to give us all. It is more than just bombs bursting in the air, it is also the lives impacted once the bombs stop. We may never have full Peace in our World, but because of our Veterans we can have Peace of mind knowing we live in America and are free to embrace Democracy as only us Americans can. Lady Liberty watches over us in the Big Apple, Mount Rushmore watches the skies for our enemies in the Badlands and our Military watch everyone in every State that makes up this great Country.

Tomorrow is Military Appreciation Day at the Valley. As Tigers we love our orange, but let's put that orange on hold for a day and let's wear our purple tomorrow to show love for those that have loved us unconditionally. There are four colors tomorrow that are of the utmost importance. Three of these colors will represent the Greatest Country on Earth as these colors dawn the cloth made up of stars and stripes. A cloth that waves in the skies but yet has been unwavering in our lives. The fourth color will be proudly worn by our Tigers, the Coaching Staff and us fans as a tribute to our Military personnel and the unselfishness of these American heroes! Our Military personnel come from all backgrounds and walks of life. We often refer to Clemson as God's Country and this is true for all of us, but let's remember the greatest Superheroes of all time tomorrow as these heroes are not just in Clemson but they reign from our plains, cities and lands from coast to coast and border to border. As our Tiger's take to the hill at 1525 hours tomorrow, let's be loud and proud. Let's show those Dirty Birds from Kentucky that the Tiger faithful are still, and have always been, the pride of the South and the greatest fans in all the land.

Thank you to the men and women who serve, not just today but every day!

As always, Go Tigers!
Beat those Dirty Birds.

Freedom is fragile. Enjoy what you have today as our freedoms are slowly slipping away. A recent survey found that roughly half our population would not defend our country if attacked by an enemy. Just this week, Xi Jinping told his military to prepare for war. With whom?

Red, White, & Blue is the preferred color on Veterans day, but with an Orange ball cap, or scarf depending on your preference when Veterans day, and Orange Friday is on the same day, don't you agree.
