The women in Ann Arbor are butt ugly. He definately didn't choose Michigan because of the females.

so one man makes up a WR core?

Aug 24, 2006, 4:05 PM

What's going to happen when he's double covered? Hope you have a good OL to either protect QB while he searches for another receiver or that can block for the run.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

not core, i meant CORPS***

Hmmm !!!!

Aug 24, 2006, 4:07 PM

I wonder if the guys feels the same way about the Maddox kid who is a RB from Hannah. He is a life long Clemson fan who chose $CU over Clemson.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

But I thought Clemson wanted him to be a linebacker?

Aug 24, 2006, 4:27 PM

If I wanted to be a runningback, and most of the schools recruiting me, were doing so as a runningback... then why would I choose a school that didn't want me to be a runningback.

Now... I know why Clemson wanted him as a Lniebacker. But that's a little different don't you think? If he chooses Clemson, it was because he wanted to play linebacker right?

He's a RB, he wants to play RB at the college level, and ..

Aug 24, 2006, 4:54 PM

he knows he'll never see a down of PT at Clemson as a RB. Besides, I have seen conflicting reports about Clemson offering him as LB but I have no inside information on what really happened.

Well... if it were true (and clearly we don't know) that

Aug 24, 2006, 5:16 PM

Clemson offered him as a linebacker... I could understand why he would not want to go there. Ic ould also see why Clemson might not offer as a RB.

That said... just like it's probably not wise to crown someone a king before they play a down... it's probably just as unwise to suggest they "would never see a down of PT" before they've arrived on campus.

Now how do you know that?.........

Aug 24, 2006, 6:00 PM [ in reply to He's a RB, he wants to play RB at the college level, and .. ]

Davis will be a junior and Merriweather will be gone.. So he would have seen time as a Redshirt Freshman or Sophmore.... Hell he could be all world for all you know...JD was a 4 star as is Maddox.. How do you know he won't be just as good? Spiller can't play the entire game.

That's so typical though...they sing the praises of every recruit they go after, and when they choose a different school - they find every excuse in the book and start to downplay how good he "really" is.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Reminds me of.... well do I really have to tell you?***

No, dumas. When we lose recruits, it's not because they

Aug 24, 2006, 4:38 PM

suck and we don't want 'em, it's because you or UGA cheated.

And it usually turns out to be true.
