I'll try and clear up a few rumors from the scrimmage...

Jacoby Ford twisted his ankle after making a ridiculous catch near the goal line. He walked off the field with help and it was immediately iced down. After about 20 minutes he was up and walking around again.
CJ Gaddis threw a punch at Jad Dean after a FG attempt and Bowden absolutely flipped out. He grabbed his facemask and slapped his helmet and got in his face. It was pretty intense. Dean was mad because Gaddis railed Cole Chason trying to block the kick and I think he pushed him. Gaddis never saw the field for the rest of the day.
The Nathan Bennett/Anthony Waters fight was pretty intense, too. I didn't see the beginning of it though. Thomas Hunter made an absurd block on Chancellor and they were kinda scuffling down the field a ways and then I saw Bennett and Waters going at it behind the line of scrimmage. They wrestled around for a minute and the coaches let it go, then Waters ended up with Bennett's helmet somehow and swung it at him. I didn't see what happened with Waters because he went to the other sideline, but Bennett was absolutely furious and got yelled at by Bowden and Brad Scott. Kinda scary, but still good to see that they care that much in a scrimmage.
The only recruits that I saw there that I recognized were Willy Korn and Quentin Richardson. I saw them talking on at least one occasion and I also saw Korn talking to James Davis and Jacoby Ford. Willy stood and watched the offense with Bowden almost the entire time.
The recievers looked awesome today. Grisham had a ridiculous catch. Jacoby had a circus catch (and injured himself on the same play.) Ogren took a screen pass about 40 yards. LaDonte Harris caught everything thrown at him including 2 jump balls. He looked really good today.
The offensive line really controlled the game today. DLine never really had much of a chance and Rumph wasn't too happy about it. He is real fiery and really loud. I really like him so far.
Overall, pretty good scrimmage. Some really good hits. Good intensity. Good game.

Jacoby made an awesome catch, but didn't walk off. He was carried off without putting any weight on the ankle.
He also didn't walk for about 30 minutes after the injury.
Afterwards, however, he began to walk and seemed fine.
It initially seemed like a horrific injury.
