Friends, please pray for a family that is at a loss on this evening. I'm asking for a prayer request and though it may be my first, nonetheless, it is indeed sincere. I lost a dear friend and I don't know how to express my emotions right now other than to write. The following is a letter I delivered to my dear friend's family. Please keep them in your thoughts. I thank you all, and may God bless.
It is with great sorrow that we lost the most genuine one we know.
A beautiful, kind hearted man has passed us by, yet we refuse to weap- as he would request.
On this day, we remember a precious smile,
A gracious soul,
A caring man,
A devoted father,
And a sincere friend,
A family man- who indeed had a large, gracious family of friends, both direct and indirect family, co-workers, and people who loved him. And we shall never forget him.
Not a person who met him will ever forget his selfless ways, and extraordinary heart.
A selfless individual concerned about others no matter the circumstance.
A most optimistic friend who lifted us all up, regardless of what we went through,
Lord, we found it hard not to hold on to a smile when surrounded by our dear friend, Breeze McKenzie.
A heart to big for this world, yet we were all fortunate enough to experience the beauty that is our dear friend Breeze.
Lord, you blessed us all with his presence.
However brief it may have been, not one soul he encountered will ever forget his warmth;
His ambition,
His happiness,
And his overall lust for life.
It is with the utmost and incredible kindness that we speak of our friend.
Lord, we thank you for the time you gave us all with him.
Lord, you gained a precious angel on this day.
May we never forget his smile. His sincerity. His passion for life.
In his honor, and in Jesus name we pray, Amen.

one of my best golfing buddies, to Final Stage Leukemia. I go to visit as much as I possibly can, he has literally days left. They say you can't pick your family, but you can pick your friends. So, when you lose one, it hurts that much worse. May the Grace of Jesus be with the family of your friend, and you, as you go through the process of grieving his loss. But, on the other side, the good memories are what will remain going forward.

...so enlightened by this letter and description, and this man. He is surely now enjoying the "new earth"(and capital city "New Jerusalem") and all its enhancements and upgrades over the present one.
