Since the 16-game ACC schedule isn't that old, it's not fair to compare 8 wins now to what it was 20 years ago...

I hear you, but haven't we had a 16 game schedule as long as there were 9 teams in the conference (which I believe dates back to 1992)? Hell, that's nearly 20 years.
