i live near columbia and since scu beat us i have seen about a 80% surge in people where scu clothing. and their wearing brand new scu clothing, clothing and hats you can tell they are wearing for the first time, right from the store. This happened the last time they beat us in 2006, at the gym i workout at i had seen people who i had seen for two years never wear scu clothing but right after they beat us they are all of a sudden wearing scu clothing. I hava a guarantee: next year we beat them 80% of their fans will go into hiding. The only time 80% of scu fans claim to be scu fans is when they beat us. We are their god, their elohim, they worship us thats why its always a their biggest win ever

My guess is that many of those wearing such clothing have no choice. They have to wear whatever is available at the Salvation Army.

i have also seen the opposite of the "brand new" USC garb
the old stuff that has been sitting in the closet for years has hit the streets as well
much of any several sizes ago for the wearers

No, most of the South Carolina fans I know act like they don't care it all actually. However, when South Carolina wins, that game is their god. It always mans that South Carolina is turning the corner.

Carolina fans are a lot of things, but they are not fair-weather fans. Trying to assert that Carolina fans are the fair-weather type is a losing argument that is directly contradicted by over a century of poor football but loyal fan support.
