yep, split in baseball...
two games were played in near freezing weather at the beginning of the season, and two were played near the end when teams were jocking for tournament seeds and hosting possibilities...
which would you rather win

All of them...

but if that isn't possible, then I guess the last two will work. I had serious doubts that SC would win all 4 games this year and felt like Clemson's best chances would be the later games.

Bullcrap. If we have to split, I'd rather take the last two

than the first two for obvious reasons and those already stated by others.

What are those obvious reasons again?

With a decent portion of the conference schedule left plus the conference tournaments, I don't think weekday games have a huge impact on tournament seeding, other than the effect it has on RPI-- and with that, 2-2 is 2-2, no matter when in the season they occured.
Temperature? Since when is that a factor in determining quality of win?
What else was there?

Having a two game losing streak is no different than a two game winning streak.

Sure it is...

but losing 2 games out of the year is the same as losing 2 games out of the year.

Sure, two losses is two losses, but a two game winning streak is better than a two game losing streak. There is no doubt about that.

We had a 2-game winning streak this season, and y'all had a 2-game winning streak this season. So we tied for the year.

Now Toogie, study this part of the quote and you can learn

something while perusing Tigernet.
"I had serious doubts that SC would win all 4 games this year and felt like Clemson's best chances would be the later games. "
This is seriously one of the finest examples of armchair coaching I have ever seen. It completely follows my own armchailr rule of stating what should have been done or in this case would have happened, Either shortly or immediately AFTER it happened.

two years or the last two years? Nevermind the fact USuC has never beaten Clemson twice in a row at any point in your life.

I don't take them THAT seriously. If a person is seriously affected by the outcome of sporting events, particularly in which they don't play, then they have bigger issues than Wins and Losses.

Over 10,000 posts with three paying handles on your dominating rival's website clearly shows you don't really care about sports all that much. Riiiight.

Very simply this

The last two tastes in my mouth were of cake... not caster oil. A split is a split... but I savor that last flavor.
