My Christmas Wish To All of You on TigerNet

Afternoon all,

Just a quick note to wish everyone on the board a Merry Christmas (or Happy Holiday of your choice).

Nothing elaborate. Just a sincere wish that everyone finds their share of the peace, joy and love so abundant at this time of the year. I also wish that we all find a way to spread and share it over the course of the other 11 months, too.

We spend quite a bit of time dissecting our own little corner of the sports world here, which is one of the things that makes this board both fun and interesting. But let us not forget that the one team that matters most - family - doesn't require a large payroll to be happy.

All it takes is an investment of time on each of our parts, plus a good dose of the aforementioned peace, joy and love.

Perhaps it's a bit corny, and maybe somewhat unexpected from a media hack such as myself. But as each year goes by (I used to think 37 was OLD, know what I'm sayin'?), that time with my family means more and more. Some of the other things we seem to stress over in our daily lives suddenly don't bother me as much.

And trust me, that's a good thing.

So all of you have a wonderful holiday season. I look forward to another year's association with TigerNet, and hope that 2005 is our best effort yet!!!
