Regarding my basketball story

Coby was right to be puzzled, but next time how about asking me privately pal?
I didn't go to the game. I had issues at home. I wrote it off radio reports and gametracker, then used quotes from Rivers and Purnell on the postgame show.
My email story to Crump DID NOT have my byline on it. If I'm not there and write him a story, it's supposed to be a "staff reports" deal. He simply made an error, or there was an error in communication, but as soon as I post this I'm fixing the story to say "From Staff Reports."
No trying to hide anything here. Next time you have a question, just ask me.

he's a kid that doesn't have a clue about professional journalism. I'm not knocking him but he does have a ways to go. He is young.
The one smart thing he is doing is creating a little controversy. What writer doesn't try to do a bit of that to gain some notoriety?
You guys are just playing his game. That is, if he truly meant to do this.
My guess is, he didn't.
