60% of my friends (I have 5 friends) wanted Butch Davis as our head coach a few years ago. They argue that you have to have a big name coach to make an impact on a program. Compare UNC to Clemson the past few years and see how that works out.
We could have hired X coach but we have Dabo and Co. Looking back, we're in pretty good shape.

So 3 of your friends wanted Butch. Were the other two equally divided by Mike Leach and Pete Carroll?They both are pretty big names if you ask me.

I do like Dabo... Always have. He has done great things.... we loose to the Lamecocks this year and I will not be able to defend him any more.
