Rename the baseball stadium

It should be Wilhelm Field. NO ONE has meant as much to a Clemson sport as Coach Wilhelm meant to Clemson baseball.

you would think that would be a no-brainer. You just wish they would not wait until someone dies in these situations so they could see it, and feel the appreciation. Much the same thing with putting Ford's name up on the facade of the stadium. Time is wasting.

him while he was still alive. I'm sure the field will be named for him soon. Bill Wilhelm Field at Doug Kingsmore Stadium will likely happen quickly.

He never wanted that to happen which I was not happy about. One time I told him - "well we can change that when you are gone" Hd shot back "It is in the will" to which I replied "Well wills can be broken" He said "No Sarah would not allow it" I just smiled and said "Well one day it will be changed" He grinned that famous grin and said "And I will haunt you"
If there is anyway it can be done...I will be very vocal about it. I agree it should be named after him and DK ought to ask that it be changed with no money needed.
Coach B built baseball at Clemson...the field belongs to Coach B!

I am all forit, but he was all against it. Maybe a plaque saying he deserved it bu wouldn't allow it is a more fitting tribute.
