Straight from the chicken's beak....

Jan 28, 2009, 10:36 AM

When discussing why the Great Spurrier didn't land Boyd, and the lowly Swinney did, one chicken replied:

Re: uh, there's a reason Coach Spurrier didn't want Boyd.

I suppose you are talking directly about the excitable insurance salesman who put a pretty sizable beat down on the coach who earned a Heisman at QB and also coached a Heisman QB? What's your point? I know a coach who earned a Heisman at QB that also coached a Heisman QB who started a QB named Beecher. What does that tell you about a coach who won a Heisman at QB and also coached a Heisman QB's ability to evaluate a QB who is facing an SEC schedule?

Couldn't have said it better myself! Of course if I had said it at FGF, I'd be immediately banned for offending their delicate sensibilities.

Gotta love the chickens! At least a few of them have the ability to reason...

Spurrier's success with $CU QB's (or more accurately the gross lack thereof) pretty much speaks for itself.

It sure is entertaining to hear those deluded goobers brag about all the successes Spurrier achieved......at The University of Florida.

He just gave Boyd a reason to want to beat the Chickens...

...even if he never heard of UCS before now, it won't take long to engender a healthy dislike for them.

My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament.

post? Your depth of knowledge seriously rivals my 3 year old !! These players HAVE proven themselves in HS, etc. That's just the nature of the beast !! And it's OK to brag about a great recruit !! It's only natural !!

BTW, is it true you're on a path to graduate in only 2 more years? Good luck!
