Okay guys, here is the video I compiled from the game, as well as some pictures...just like I did for the USC game. The video doesn't have any game footage, because well, you saw it best on T.V. But what it does have is kind of a "Through a player's eye" type perspective of being down on the field and running around after the game and what have you. It's a little long, a little shy of 14 minutes, but it's pretty nifty. You can download it at the following site: http://download.filefront.com/4540675;286d13b265e2f436c9a9e4cd2ee2799d4e6a2d976839e49403f7dc700f6022795333a86868441f72
Final Remarks: I just have to say a few things about being a Clemson fan. Now, I've been a Clemson fan for a good three years now, since coming to Clemson as a student. However, it is not really until these past couple of games where I really have begun to understand what makes being a Clemson fan so special. I'm thinking it's because of upclose and personal contact with the team on the field, and of Tommy. It's something that you can't really describe to anybody else but another Clemson fan, and even then, it's hard to actually describe what you feel since there are so many different unique intimacies involved with being a fan of Clemson.
I'm just proud to be a part of a program that is not only strong on the field (and getting even stronger), but one that prides itself on academics and moral character. I've said it before, but I don't think we've got a better coach in front of these guys who has such a strong commitment to a solid character. You look at programs across the country where coaches swear at players, get involved in shady practices, and just down right rotten. But you will never see Tommy involved in any of these things, and I think it definitely shows in his players.
Clemson will never become a program where players steal from their own facilities. I'm embarrassed to say I was one of those people calling for Tommy's head two years back, but now that I've seen what a solid program he's put together, I don't think I will be doing that ever again.
Sorry if this is a little sappy, but, it's been a good finish to a good year. What can I say, I love being a Clemson fan, and it's glad to know that even after 18 years of cheering and crying for USC, there is hope for everyone to come around.
