but yesterday was not one of them. Screw you for going on Columbia talk radio with effing Corey Miller and taking potshots for all of coot nation to hear. Sure, most of what you said was true, but it was VERY evident that you were grinding a personal axe by saying our coaches don't listen to you, while at the same time kissing the rear ends of Lattimore and crew. So, national title or not, eff you for that. We got enough problems without that crap.

If he's not representing the University (which I know he's not) then why is he telling the coaches to do this and that, and then complaining about them not listening to him on radio...IN COLUMBIA? It's one thing if he's helping Dabo, giving advice, etc. It's another to start running around saying he's not listening, etc.
Now, I haven't heard the audio. I'm going by what I read in regards to him saying "the coaches aren't listening to him". That's BS. Other than that I'm fine with him saying we should play "smash mouth" football. I just wrote in regards to trying that.

He said he was invited to practices (he was) and provided input. He said that they don't listen to him, so why go to them anymore.
I don't see a problem with what he said, on a Columbia radio station or not. If you come to me a few times and ask my input and disregard everything I say, then what's the point in asking me again?
I don't get why everyone is so p*ssed for? Apparently Danny must not speak unless it's spewing sunshine and tiger paws.

Well if he's asked to come in to provide some advice, then I understand. However, he could have talked it over with Dabo and asked why Dabo is even asking him to come in if he's not going to heed said advice. Maybe they have and he's frustrated with the situation, only he (and Dabo) knows. Making it public only stirs the pot for Tiger fans and mostly TNET'ers.

Having the pot stirred may not be a bad thing. For the fans...it probably is a bad thing. For the coaches and the team, probably not. I bet Dabo has probably told them the same things Danny has said.
Heck, I see it as motivation, not kicking someone when they are down. I am a half-full kind of guy though.

We are on the ropes and I agree, there was no reason for him to keep punching us, while going on to praise USuCk. I do not understand why so many people feel like he could come back and coach us to another NC. ITS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!!
I love the guy too, but geez, we gotta let it go and move on folks. Dabo is Dabo. Dabo isn't Danny. Period. Dabo needs some time and I am willing to give it. We become a coaching carousel and we are screwed for sure.

I've been going to Clemson games since 1974, which is probably longer than you've been alive. I couldn't care less what you think of my status as a Clemson fan. If it makes you feel better to call me a coot, clucker, etc., go ahead. It means nothing.

I love Coach Ford. However, I am not 100% sure he would be winning more than 8 or 9 games at Clemson right now either. There are a few teams..Wisconson, VT... that play his "brand" of ball. Neither of them are playing for NC's either. I think the biggest thing it made me realize is the Dabo has not established an "identity" yet. I understand it is in the making...and Dabo is a lot closer to DF than Bowden, West, or Hatfield. I'm still in the "give Dabo some time" camp. After listening, I think DF was throwing rocks at Bowden not Dabo.

Ford made a lot of sense. Although I somewhat agree about airing it on coot-radio, he made valid points on what is ailing CU. I also agree that TDP left too much of Bowden's staff when maybe all should have been let go for a complete house cleaning. I see too much of Bowden's coaching philosophy in the way we play, even 2 years removed from his firing. It sounded to me (during the interview) that when Dabo made the publicized meeting with Ford, it seemed (to us all)as though it was to feast off Ford's knowledge.
