I know I will most likely catch grief for what I am about to say, but it is informed. I have been around a long time. My hair is white and my bones are getting brittle. This team was prepared and well coached tonight. It has been a long time since I have seen a Clemson team play with the energy, excitement, determination and physical toughness as they did tonight. The whole game came down to a freshman kicker who had tied the game on the first kick. Yes, we made mistakes. Sure I wanted to win--in the worse way. If we correct those mistakes, however, and not let this get us down too much for too long, we could get through this season with only one more loss -- and that is not to our foul friends to the south. Proud to be a TIGER. GO TIGERS!

The better team did not win tonight. But the better team also did not take advantage of its opportunities. We must play good enough to beat the other 11 on the field as well as the additional 6 in stripes. Not blaming the officials but they did not call the late hits Kyle Parker was taking in overtime.

I'm with you! And this type of performance, on the road in front of 87000 hostile fans, on TV, with a QB who could barely breathe, will HELP recruiting...you cannot be a high school player that watched this game and think negatively of Clemson...no way..

See South Carolina and Gtech for details. When the game is on the line, our defense falls apart. Happened again. Granted, Auburn is as dirty as they come, but our defense couldn't stop Easley High if the game was on the line.

Couldn't agree more. We played with the same demeanor of a Ford coached team...we can play with anybody. It is great to see that again.

what we did was do an "in your face" to ESecPn bias.
Regardless, tonite's loss hurts a lot. David Smith's injury was horrible. I hope KP is back in time for Miami. My prayers and thoughts are with them both.

No one can say we are soft anymore. We played hard. KP was so dioriented on TV, at one point it looked like he thought the lineman was his mother during the timeout....what was that? I don't think we could play in this conference week-in and week-out. They play too hard.

Great game!!! I am very proud of the Tigers. Whatever the Rockies are paying Kyle Parker is not enough! He is tougher than a $2 steak.
