today at 2:00 is the funeral for Mrs. 2oldtigers
This will be a TREMENDOUSLY upsetting time for Mr 2oldtigers. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers at 2:00 as he attends her funeral. I am praying that God will provide him with strength and comfort in the coming days, weeks, and hopefully years.
I saw him last night at the visitation. He sat in a wheelchair, with oxygen tanks hooked to him, and talked smilefully about "his girl" and patted her on the hand. He said they had been married for 49 years. I can't imagine what it's like to lose someone after that much time together.
So, please say a prayer for him and their family as they hold her funeral about 45 minutes from now.
And the next time you see an orange sunset, you can thank her for her part in it.
