Well, it was a gamble. Pick McCain, a hero and true American with health problems and risk something happening to him, which would have left Palin in charge...which would have been the end of America as we know it, or vote for the guy with some policies we don't like. If McCain is alive in four years, we'll be mad, and if something happens to him, we did the right thing.

Mar 18, 2010, 11:12 AM

Or is it the ignorance of some?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

A lot of people around these parts seem to think Obama is

Mar 18, 2010, 12:07 PM

the man responsible for all their problems. In reality, Obama hasn't done anything which makes him responsible for the negative state of our nation. All I can see is a man working hard to do his best to improve things. If someone can provide tangible evidence (i.e. not opinion) on how Obama has fouled up their lives, then I am willing to listen. Otherwise all their hate is entirely misplaced. Some may not agree with some of Obama's ideas and policies, but that doesn't make the current administration responsible for the mess the last administration put us in. You can thank that lovable ol' bonehead GW for that.

Note these comments are not tied to partisanship, not even a little. I am completely non-biased in politics. I think hardline partisanship is weak-minded and hurts things more than helps.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

non partisan, yet you name call a REP President and follow

2024 orange level memberbadge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Obama haters are hilarious.

Mar 18, 2010, 12:26 PM

Nothing in my post suggests I "follow" Barack Obama, and calling GW a lovable ol' bonehead is hardly a partisan statement. I don't care of the man was a democrat, republican, or communist - he simply did not do a good job of running our country. Likewise I will judge Obama for his actions and accomplishments as opposed to his party.

Sorry if choosing good common sense over baseless blaming and weak-minded opinions offends you, but I can assure no one is running over me.

Re: HE LIES!***

Mar 19, 2010, 12:06 PM

At some point in time, you republican and democrats are going to have to admit that the two party system is a complete and total failure. NO one regardless of their political affilitation can solve the problems that face this country alone. The cooperation that is required will NEVER happen in these times. Reganomics didn't work and we now see that. If you can't you are 'blinded by the light'!
