Some have asked "Why should I become a donor".....

May 30, 2004, 2:18 PM

Some on here have asked," Why should I become a donor of Tigernet and why is there a Donors only board"?

I will tell you why.......

On the donors board you DO NOT have the flaming Coots that has taken over this board. Also the quality of the post along with the stories more than make up for the quantity of post.

Examples of some of the stories/videos/content presently on the Donors board posted in the last week.

- Roscoe Crosby: Stranded at HOME - Once a two-sport star and Royals can't-miss prospect, Roscoe Crosby's life is on hold and clouded by tragedy
- Mahoney a live arm ( a story of how he became a pictcher at Clemson)
- Recruiting: Unofficial Offers to date ( updated list of all offers to date in football)
- William Perry: Freak of Nature (vid)
- Katie Hill Associate AD at Clemson, testifies in Nolan case
- Revenue sharing: Big 10, ACC take in most '02-'03 revenue ( The lowest share in the ACC went to Duke but it was still higher than any school's share in the SEC)
- Conerback from Nebraska looking to walk on at Clemson
- FB Recruiting: Insider's South Carolina Top 20
- FB Recruiting: Insider's Atlantic Region Hot 100
- Brian Staley could play for the Tigers in 2004
- Qualifying Updates: Bobby Hutchinson
- M T&F recruiting: Jefferson Bowers 3 titles 'ship to Clemson
- Fire, snow and the Clemson Family
- W Soc: Clemson signs 3 of top 25 HS recruits in country ( overall class ranks 6th in country)
- Pair of defensive gems ( vids of Charlie Baumann INT in gator bowl/OT win against Duke in 1997)
- Cale Yarborough was recruited to play football at Clemson story
- The New Minstrel Show: Black Vaudeville With Statistics
- 5 Rowers Honored By Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association
- Airese Currie and Tye Hill stack up on National scene
- Clemson loses another son in Iraq

etc... etc....

Also with the ®.....

Not only do you receive a better a appearance, but you receive invitations to the special ® dinners and events. You also learn the secret ® handshake. Plus you can post with better confidence and better morale, AND you get the last word. That's right, the last word.

Don't be an outsider. Get an ®.

Tell me, please, that it's a guarantee that the Coots won't take over that Board also and I'll sign on.

I seriously doubt that enough coots would pay just to get on and post garbage. The ones that do pay are those that are well liked and contribute good posts. Why pay to flame when you can do it for free on the main board?
