Dear CJ,

Dec 10, 2009, 8:01 PM

Hopefully you'll see this.

As a Clemson Alumni, I am both saddened and angered about the Heisman and Doak awards. I felt you deserved more, much more.

I have been a Clemson supporter since the 70's. I cannot express in words what an honor it has been for us to have you grace our University. You put the excitement back in Clemson Football.

Every time the ball was in your hands, 80,000 fans held their breath in anticipation of the outcome. It may have been only for a one yard gain or it could have gone for 50 and a touchdown.

I'm grateful to have witnessed your accomplishments.

God speed!!

South Carolina fans, and other fans. They all said C.J.is about the best thing they ever saw in college football and that he should have been invited to New York.

I'm upset about the Heisman award, but not the Doak award. I don't think CJ was the best running back this year, but I do think he was the best player this year. He is an all around athlete and player, and his running back numbers weren't the best, but that is because CJ is more than a RB. His total offensive production bests everyone.
