One of my high school players got an NCAA golf bid today!

6 of the 9 acc women's golf teams got ncaa bids. Only Miami, Boston College, and Maryland did not get bids (of course, Clemson, Va Tech, and Georgia Tech don't field teams). My girl, Jessica Hollandsworth, is a freshman at Maryland and got one of 9 individual bids offered for the whole tournament.

Nothing Clemson related...just wanted to toot her horn a a little.

Clemson in a heartbeat, just from listening to me talk about it, but unfortunately there's no women's team. Instead, she took the full-ride to Maryland.

It's still hard for me to believe Clemson and GT don't have women's golf teams and Miami doesn't have a men's team.
