Saturday's Game

What a nice outing Saturday night. Casey Harman was VERY good, he kept Tech largely under control the whole time he was in the game. I think they need to put "The Man" on the back of Jeff Schaus' jersey because that's what he is. I've been on the Jeff Schaus bandwagon since last year and that isn't changing any time soon. He doesn't get near the publicity that some other players do, he just goes out and produces. Paul Strelow did write a nice article on him in The State Friday, but he largely flies under the radar. He's absolutely been raking this week, and it hasn't been against weak competition. Chris Epps made a big contribution leading off as the DH, that arrangement seemed to work pretty well. I think Trey Delk will start on Sunday. It was cool to see the teams that were recognized before the game. Too bad one of the biggest names on the 1999 team wasn't there. Of course, Khalil Greene is kinda busy right now. I was VERY impressed with the size of the crowd. It looked bigger to me than the one the day of the spring football game. Brad Miller made a great stop early in the game. He's going to be pretty special before his time at Clemson is done.
