Don King, Jackie Calvert,Ray Mathews,Harvey White, Buddy Gore and on and on. A funny thing that happened when I was about 10 or 11. My dad worked at his office till noon on Sat. He was to pick me up so we could go to the game at 1:00. When I got in the car and we got up to road, he noticed I was wearing jeans. He stopped in Anderson and bought me a pair of cordury knickers and had me put them on. Men wore ties to game in those days and boys had to dress better than jeans.

I guess jeans and t-shirts are the new dress up,
when I was a kid it was what we could afford, price sure went up when they became acceptable attire.

sachool. I spent 6 years doing PA at Littlejohn and Death Valley, 4 years on the radio network with Jim and several more years doing Lady Tiger basketball on radio and cable tv and also baseball on cable.

I don't post but once in a while I feel the need to reply to some of the obvious whackos who "don't get" what college sports are all about and consider them a religion not the sport they are intended to be. A Penn State grad and transplant from Pennsylvania, I fell in love with Clemson and the Clemson family when my Grandson attended, and graduated from, Clemson. I have to carry on his enthusisam since he passed away at 28 and is one of the many Tigers watching from above. Yep, 'JoePa is a close friend too and a YEAR YOUNGER than me......... Have a great Birthday from an 83 year old Tiger Fan!

Happy birthday. I am 61, so you have me by a few. I too had to go to work right out of high school. This is my first week of "voluntary retirement" from company I spent 42 years with.
Great day last Saturday, my Dad, son, and I were at game thanks to my supervisor.
Again, happy birthday and many more.
