1) Because TTU will still be 3rd Fiddle in Texas....6th or 7th fiddle when you talk regional recruiting. A Texan doesnt grow up dreaming of being a "Red Raider"

2) He is torked that TTU AD wouldnt renegotiate his contract last year

3) 45K seat stadium, ranked #2 in the BCS....and there are still tickets availible for Baylor game

4) No pirates in Lubbock

5) Boiled Peanuts are better in the South East
