My grandad passed away 2 years ago. He was a diehard clemson fan ever since my dad went to school there. I grew up going to clemson games since I was old enough to walk...sitting in his car trunk tailgating when it was cold. He got to see me attend and graduate Clemson in '01, followed by my brother in '03. Wish he was still here.
He always flew an old faded Clemson flag in his yard and wore a vintage clemson stocking hat at the colder games. So this pic was for him. He passed the torch and I'm carrying on the tradition....Another season of great football and friends to look forward to. This tradition will never die in my family...my blood runs orange....

I have been out of town on business and didn't get a chance to check it. I'm sure everyone has someone they miss who was a big influence on their lives. My grandad lives on in my memories that surround me. I know I will see him again once I "move over".

Yes this was overlooking Graveyard Fields off the parkway. A bunch of us go camping in Brevard (Pisgah Nat'l Forest) every year and make a trip up the parkway to hike across graveyard fields.
