Does SC really deserve a regional?

IMO we played much better than they did down the stretch and we beat them the last time we played. I think we should have gotten a regional before them.

Yes, they played better over the course of the year. Regionals are rewards for your play over the whole year, not the last quarter of it. They had 40 plus wins and beat us 3 out of 4.

Now... let me make this clear. I'm in no way suggesting Clemson should not have a regional. Had you been given a regional no one in their right mind would have flinched at all. But to suggest that USC should have been left out in favor of Clemson is just a joke.

Why can't Clemson fans admit that Clemson didn't win enough games? If you want to host, don't lose 2 games to Maryland, 1 to Boston College, 1 to Western Carolina, 1 to Elon, 2 to NC State, and 1 to Furman. Beating Furman doesn't really help the RPI, but losing to them sure does hurt it.

y'all don't deserve a national seed. National seeds are listed before any regional pairings come out. You are confusing hosting a super with being a national seed.

I agreed that we do not deserve a Super-regional... unless omething strange happens in the regionals. I think we will be paired up with the MB regional. I think that if the 4 seed comes out of the regional (which would definitely qualify as strange) we could host the super... otherwise why would USC put in a bid to host? The Super regional will not be held in Myrtle Beach if Costal doesn't come out of their regional.

we only won 4 less games than the chickens and we ended a lot stronger, winning 3 of 4 vs the #3 team in the country. they won 2 of 3 vs a weak UGa team (came a miracle away from it being 1 of 3) and then only beat UF in the sec tourney (barely). I can't remember their last good win.

Clemson did not lose to The Citidal or The College of Charleston either. But you did get 10 wins from baseball powerhouse teams like Western Kentucky, UNC Wilmington, Liberty, Richmond, Eastern Michigan and Brown.
