I'm probably wasting my time posting this on the "Tiger Board," but I just want to get this out there...
NOT "practically everybody" on here thinks that Tommy Bowden is doing a terrible job, like some people have been saying. While we have lost some close games that we shouldn't have (it is frustrating), we are headed in the right direction.
Bowden's top recruiting classes started TWO years ago, which means the juniors and seniors this season were from the classes that ranked in the 40's and 50's. There is nothing wrong with those players, but that is the truth. The true "talent" that everyone is talking about is young--freshman and sophomores.
Tommy has done many good things for this program, and it is headed in the right direction. Slamming him, other coaches, players, and others won't help that progression.
The "Tiger Board" has cast a bad shadow on Clemson recently. I just hope that it isn't hurting us in recruiting and a university, as a whole.
Changing the subject a little bit... I am also sick of Clemson fans that say that basketball doesn't matter here. EVERY sport should matter, especially a major one like basketball. I love our basketball team this year and the attendance really bothers me. There is no reason we shouldn't have a legitimate 7,000 people for the early games and sell out (10,000) every game from January on. Maybe everyone spending all their time complaining could use that time to go to Littlejohn and support the 10-0 Tigers.
All in all, I am excited about the future of ALL of our athletic teams...
STOP COMPLAINING AND SUPPORT YOUR TEAM (IN ALL SPORTS).

there aren't many people saying we should fire bowden

Most of us just think we should have done better this season. You can't possibly say that you weren't dissapointed with how this season turned out. Coaching had a lot to do with that. Bowden will have a lot of talent over the next 2 seasons. We'll see what he can do with it.

The vast majority of Clemson fans support Tommy Bowden. It is only a few loud mouths whining on the internet that gives the impression that he is disliked. Not so!
Tommy is our coach, and he deserves our support. He has it!
