My last bit of wisdom before I hit 50....

I've come to grips with the knowledge that the face I see in the mirror every morning isn't my dad...it's me.
When he turned 80 last year (the night before he got a nasty case of food poisoning at the beach...but that's another story) he gave the assembled family a little nugget of wisdom.
Since I'm soon to turn 50 and thus be considered senile (as well as eligible for AARP) I'll leave it with y'all. It may mean something to you it may not...but heck, it's my birthday so you're stuck with it.

The other day I'm watching an old movie. Its black and white and the cars looked so old. They didn't have runnning boards but they were old. I look at the date and it was done the year I was born. All in all a very sobering experience. LOL

I hit 50 the end of August. After the year I had at 49 I couldn't wait for 50 to get here. You certainly don't act 50...and neither does Homey. I expect to go to at least 95. That translates into two more national championship teams in football. Does Danny have a son interested in coaching?
