Tennessee football portal transfers

I remember 2 years ago when we all wanted Q Crouch so much. Now, he has left Tennessee and has entered the portal. All I hear from my SEC acquaintances is how strong the SEC is. Outside of 2 or 3 teams, I believe they have thrown out most of their coaches this season.

I think Knoxville will be know for the Worlds Fair and Transfer Portal.

How many of the current SEC coaches have been there since.... 2015? Basically, they are the transfer portal for 40-50yo somethings with rage issues. See Muscoot.

UT: LOL
Coots: Nope
Jawja: Nah
Vandy: Nein
Mizzou: Nada
Auburn: Almost
Ol Miss/Miss State - of course not
A&M: 75M nopes
LSU GNEAUX

Kentucky - YES

may have been, at least in part, what motivated Crouch to sign with Tennessee.

Now he's trying to get the heck out of Knoxville before the poo really hits the fan.

My guess is that the players hitting the portal are a who's who of guys who were in some part lured/retained by UT with the actions currently being investigated.

I am guessing those dealings were keeping them there, and now that the "golden goose" is gone they have no reason to be stuck there.

Did you see the statement from JP's attorney yesterday?

Of course he denies any knowledge or involvement and asserts this is merely a desperate attempt by UT to avoid having to pay his $12 million buyout.

I didn't see the statement but there isn't a lot of mystery there.

Obviously allowing this much information to become public is a way to save $12 million, and I would say it's a "convenient" attempt instead of a desperate one.

If you are going to cheat that blatantly, you better win and keep the people in charge happy.

some IRREFUTABLE evidence that he was directly involved, or they will still be on the hook for $12 Million. My money is on the JP lawyers winning the case, unless Pruitt was just irretrievably stupid.

It's more a matter of who has the better lawyer.

So here is a story I heard when Clemson was recruiting Crouch. I heard that a "handler" for him asked a representative at Clemson if Crouch signed with Clemson, what would Clemson do for the "family". Clemson responded by pulling the offer. I don't swear it is true. Just a story I heard...…...

There were several stories near the end of his recruitment about an unnamed person getting involved with and assisting in recruiting late in the process.

This was about the same time that UT came out of nowhere as one of his favorites.

Let some of the other SEC schools like LSU have them. The NCAA is familiar with many of them and know where to find them.
