I was hoping Beth Mowins. Darn Pam Ward
Bringing Mike Patrick and Ed Cunningham out of retirement would have been a bold move for ESPN.

I'm fine with this crew.
Agreed Holly Rowe would be a good addition.

Hey - speaking of announcers
Jan 4, 2020, 8:29 PM
|
|
I forgot I'd recorded the BC/Cincy Birmingham Bowl. Already knew BC got crushed but thought I'd watch a couple of minutes anyway. Oh man! Misery! Pouring rain - a nothing bowl - not more than MAYBE 100 people there. Just hideous.
But before game - the pregame chat w/the 2 announcers. I had never seen them. The play-by-play guy looked like he was "18." Actually he was pretty good - just listening to him - but man, he looked like he was in high school.
Poor BC....it might be decades before they're a serious team - IF THEN!

Well, along those lines, I can't seem to find any details for the NCG Megacast. Has that been announced? All my searches just give me the semifinals Megacast details.

Actually, that doesn’t cover it. There’s still the ACC Network and SEC Network. Plus all the different feeds which will be available on the ESPN app but not on a linear channel.
Seems like last year there were 12 of so different feeds to enjoy.
I plan to watch the main telecast real time and then revel in the Clemson victory later by watching all the other options.

Can you imagine how good a Ron Franklin-Kirk Herbstreit broadcast team would have been? He is a Louisiana boy though.

...Ponder. Can we request her presence next time? can we get Sam everytime?! Very easy on the eyes and actually knows football! Lol! I usually listen to the WCCP radio show while watching live. It takes some pausing to sync things up. For Natty, it’s blacked out on radio because of the broadcast. I want to see the main feed while listening to Munson and co! We’re going to shock the world by beating yet another greatest team ever! Go Tigers!

This account is much older than it would appear. I know I only have a handful of posts, but I only post during football season. It’s not that I don’t love a CU sports, I am just a football fanatic since my first game in 1976. Lifelong love affair! Bleed orange and sweat purple! I noticed that the new accounts started kicking up around five years ago. The bandwagon grows, just as the hater wagon grows. Cost of success. I can’t wait until we are hated like Bama! We’re close!!
