That's a tough one. If Clemson had done that, the talking heads at ESPN would be in revolt.

They needed a 12th opponent. Since the Big 12 plays 9 conf. games they only need 3 non conference ones. They also have Tulane and renewing their rivalry with Nebraska this year and next.

to be a rivalry again.

Still say Nebraska made a huge mistake when they let their disdain for Texas run them out of the Big 12. They have been totally irrelevant in the Big 10. Truth be told, they were already irrelevant during their last years in the Big 12, but still.
