Military Appreciation Day - Flyovers

OK folks, my memory as a college student isn't that great, but I seem to remember a flyover on Military Appreciation Day that involved Blackhawk helicopters.

The unusual part in my memory was that the helicopters didn't just fly west to east over the stadium but instead banked and flew over the North Stands and then the South stands. I was sitting high up in the upper deck of the South Stands and felt like they were going to hit the light poles. This would have happened in the early to mid 90's.

Does anyone remember this event or am I just hallucinating?

Don’t recall.

All the flyovers in my time were F16s out of Shaw.

The flyover this past year was a group of small, non jets. Not sure what they were, but it was a bit disappointing versus the F16s . No, I take that back- I was extremely thankful just to be there and that we were playing!
