Games like these and Dabo’s philosophy

is why it will be hard for a Tiger to win a Heisman. Any other team let’s their starters get at least 2.5-3 quarters and pad stats before getting pulled. I know getting young guys reps has been beneficial through the years, but it has to be frustrating at times for the 1’s. Just a thought.

Yep. Trevor could have 7-8 TD throws by now.

Guys I’m a Tar Heel and I’m willing to see and admit y’all have the best 2 players in the country. Surely the Heisman voters are smart enough to not hold blowout wins against the players.

DW got robbed and I will go to the grave saying so. His not winning was an abomination and why even if one of our Tigers wins it, it won’t be the same to me in terms of value.

I think they enjoy winning other kinds of trophies.

Oh, and the experienced players probably remember when THEY got to play as freshman so they could develop.

Valid point in my opinion. After two games, Trevor is below 500 total offensive yards. Number of TD’s isn’t horrible, but it’s also not eye popping. He will get his yards, but will earn them as opposed to padding stats against lesser competitor.

Lawrence threw a touchdown pass that made the score 42-0. Not sure too many coaches out there would keep their guys in up 42-0 against The Citadel.
