Tanner hired Chump and now has to eat his bloated extension buyout as well as several key current assistants under contract through 2021. The owed money adds up to the tune of about 18 million bucks. That's a lot of money that the Coots really don't have.

If this hire is a bust (USCjr history tends to lead us to believe it will) then he could really hamstring the Coot athletic department for a decade or two.

I'd say good luck Ray but in reality it wouldn't carry any sincerity.
