is he was practicing with the team..not smart to have him practicing with the team while symptomatic even when testing negative.

They send them home......they get tested ...come back if negative.
We have had people displaying symptoms...they said it was hayfever....they were sent home until they prove they are negative. Same deal. He had multiple negatives.

At my work if you have cold symptoms you stay away from others. The rapid tests can be inaccurate. I understand Trevor continued to practice until the test result arrived. In the best interest of preventing unintended spread and it’s huge impact on the team and the season, I don’t agree with what Clemson has decided to do if in fact they letting players with symptoms continue to practice. Just my opinion, I don’t agree today’s game should have been postponed.

They have protocol they have to follow during practices and meetings. They also test 3 times a week. I'm sure if someone is showing cold symptoms but test negative they don't assume it's safe to "be all up in his grill".

Has the timeline been made public? Symptoms = test(s) = negative results = keep practicing. What were the symptoms and how intense were they? Why were additional tests given? And who was the player? Does the loss of one player jeopardize a 31 point spread?

having a headache is a symptom, having a cold is a symptom, having body aches is a symptom. With colds and allergies also a factor right now, it can be hard to say what is a symptom reflecting COVID and what is something else (or just being an athlete). Negative test would lead you to believe the problem is something other than COVID.
