Dabo’s silence vs FSU’s statements...

Dabo is smart, disciplined, and will speak when the time is right.

He is allowing this situation to play itself out. He knows he is in the right and making emotional declarations right now would do no one good.

It speaks volumes that FSU was so quick to issue press releases and statements.

“If you are explaining, you are losing” is old adage that rings true here.

Not for another $300k. Does not make business sense. If FSU wants to pay it, then so be it.

Norvell's statement would have gotten F in a freshman speech class. He was awful and unconvincing

Norvell said when he was asked that he wanted to play. My question is how does this "FSU medical team" wield so much authority to over rule the head coach?

Sadly FSU lucked into an excuse NOT to play and they ran with it. Makes the Seminoles look even weaker and pathetically scared than they were even thought to be. Make no mistake about it but getting blownout is BAD for recruiting.

I really doubt if instructors give Fs any more (in this era of "rating your professor".)

And I REALLY doubt if FSU requires Freshman speech class.

But if you say they do, I'll take your word for it.

Not by a long shot.

Funny. I didn’t hear teams wanting to cancel when Trevor tested positive?

He practiced all week. FSU used Covid as an excuse. I (as a long time Clemson fan, ) remember the gut wrenching days leading up to the FSU game. Knowing we had a mediocre QB, or a converted WR playing QB, having to go against that defense. Knowing we were going to be blown out. But you know what? Those Over-matched Clemson teams showed up and took their medicine. I lost all respect for FSU today. I hope we play this game and leave the first or second team in the entire game. Run the score up. Score as many points as they can. Make it the worst defeat in ACC history. Destroy FSU as a program. Make them the laughing stock for the rest of the time they have football.
GO TIGERS!!!!!!!!!

I thought the same thing!

My emotions want us to run up the score if the game is rescheduled...

My mind wants us to forget about playing FSU this year, especially in December. At that point we need to be focused on the ACCCG and the playoffs.

I’m sure that the players will remember this and use it as additional motivation to trounce FSU next year in Death Valley.

Just hope they don't go back down to Tally after that stunt. Looks foolish if they do.
