Some big WHAT IF's...

Let's say things go pretty much "chalk" the rest of the year. Clemson/ND win out, Clemson wins rematch 34-28 ALA/FLA win out, Fla wins 31-30 OSU/Wisconsin win out. Oregon and SC win out, Oregon wins 27-20 in Pac champ.
You have... Conference Champs Clemson 10-1 Florida 9-1 Oregon 7-0
Undefeated Ohio State 6-0 Wisconsin 6-0 Cincinnati 10-0 BYU 10-0
One Loss Notre Dame 10-1 Alabama 10-1 Texas A&M 9-1 Southern Cal 6-1
WHO GETS IN?

Of the one loss group - I think you can eliminate T A&M and SC How do you get OSU and Wisc to both 6-0?
In that scenario I think they go with Clemson, Florida, then 2 of ND, AL, OSU, Wisc, Or. That scenario would be a mess. As a Clemson fan I think we need to continue to pull for Miami and ND to win. If we were to get back to full strength and thoroughly defeat ND then that will likely cut into ND's chances in that scenario. Another nail biter that can go either way gives both teams a strong case to make the playoff. We have the upper hand with a neutral site win and title of conference champion.

You'd have the osu/wisky champ... They are having a champ game right? Anyway, imho, I just don't think you can assess the records on teams that didn't have to go through the riggers of a full season. A lot of what ifs there too. Because if Wisky has to cancel one more game, they won't get to play for a championship... And personally, I think they're one of the 4 best teams in the country. They found themselves a QB.
Final 4 Bama 11-1 Clemson 11-1 Wisconsin 7-0 Oregon 7-0 or 8-0 (can't recall)

expanded playoff considering that not all teams are playing a full schedule.
There is a lot more risk to playing a full 10 or 11 game season, compared to a 6-7 game season.
I don't think tOSU or even Alabama should be ranked ahead of Clemson at this point, the sample size is just too small.
