Any tips on dealing with hot weather games?

The hottest part of the day tomorrow is from 3-6, so those of us not under an overhang will be cooking pretty good in the stadium. Anyone have any tips on staying cool on a hot gameday (tailgate and in game) outside of the normal hydrate, shade, sunscreen, etc.?
Generally I just accept the fact that I am going to be hot and sweating like Buzz Williams.

The year we played UGA in an oven I got creative. I put a bowl half filled with water in the freezer. In that bowl I put a bowl with a brick. So two bowls.....one filling a gap in the water of the other. It froze, I removed the bowls and had a perfect bowl of ice. I put it in a bag and put that bag in my cooler. On my walk to the stadium I took a small towel and my ice hat. It was wet....but amazing.
Also, first aid at DV has gatorade, ice packs, and AC if you get REALLY overheated. I suggest you begin hydrating now. Your urine should be close to clear by tomorrow morning. One bottle of water for every two beers.

That is a great idea, I would have never thought of that! I hope tomorrow isn't as hot as the UGA game, I don't think that would be possible anyway... And agreed on the water to beer ratio.

Carry your car door, then you can just roll down the window.

If we as fans cant take it, what do we expect those players to do wearing full pads at the bottom of a bowl where the heat is much worse?

Frozen bottle of water

Fans can take in one unopened bottle of water each. We buy the liter bottle and freeze it. The bottle will normally still have a little ice in it at the end of the game. I am not beneath pouring that ice water on my head when needed.

Ask Coach William Q. Taggart what he would do, then do the opposite.
