history? With a minimum of 3 games to go, it is certainly possible, and a 4th would almost guarantee it.

I tried searching for a single player doing both but mostly found teams with a 4,000 yard passer and a 1,000 yard rusher. It appears only Oklahoma has a 4,000 yard passer and two 1,000 yard rushers in the same season at this time.

Yes,Vince Young was the first QB to pass for 3,000 and run for 1,000 in a season. I don't think anyone has come close to 4,000 and 1,000.

Woody was the first 2000/1000, and I think it was Seneca Wallace that did it a year or two later.
