Does anyone recall that William Perry also ran the ball as a running back, and also caught a TD pass as a wide receiver?

If we take care of business early against BC, that would be a great time. He's from Massachusetts.

I hope we see the two big guys back there, again. I want to see who will step in front of #42 after he's had a eight yard headstart toward the line.

I would absolutely love to see Wilkins throw a passing TD in the 4th Qrt, in the game against the coots!!! That would give us something to talk about years down the road every time we play them. It would be something that we could pisss them off with years down the road!!!!

In true Jamie’s style, the caption for the picture of Doak should simply be: “OUR HOUSE!!!”

Sure, but we'd need to have a big cushion. But also in college football when you start getting cute and funny, you are asking to get beat. Why don't we stick to winning.

Where do you find people (like Renfrow & Wilkins) with a willingness to do whatever the coach asks of you without complaint?

I think Wilkins is the QB of the punt team, he took a snap once got the first down.

Let him throw it! Can't be any worse than Kelly Bryant and Dabo stuck with him for a year and a quarter.

I think they should line up in the same formation and have Lawrence go in motion leaving Wilkens in the Wildcat. He then follows Dexter into the endzone. Unstoppable from 1-2 yards out.

As fun as it would be, goofing off is bad sportsmanship
Posted: Oct 28, 2018, 1:55 PM
|
|
Playing the entire traveling team and calling fake punts when you’re ahead to practice those players and those plays is perfectly acceptable. But sending in a D-lineman under center to toss a junk time TD is bad sportsmanship. Even worse to let him kick an xtra point.
However it’s clear that Elliot isn’t completely opposed to this idea. I actually could see it happening in the super jumbo package with a handoff from Lawrence to Wilkins who then lobs it to Swinney on the post. That’s not unsportsmanlike, that’s showing future opponents that they can’t overcommit to the run even when Dex and CW are both in.

Challenge the Defense! If they have a shutout against SC call a late time out. Put Wlikens in at QB and Dex as FB with Ferrell and Bryant in the wishbone! You know everyone on D would play their arses off to see it!
