How tough would our schedule be having to play Virginia Tech, Notre Dame, and Florida State on the road plus and home date with Miami?

I would say, 3 and 1 would be excellent against those teams.

Not to mention Bobby Ross had some really good teams at both Maryland and Ga Tech including a Natty.

The only reason that GT won a Naty in 90 was wee had Hatfield as our coach. Danny would have probably won it all that year.

And that 1995 Cuse team was pretty good too.

Who would have ever thought we would have a team going to play at Notre Dame and the majority of the fan base not be nervous about the possibility of losing the game. We've been superb for several years and I hope most (some will) do not take it for granted. And when we ever do go 9-3 or 8-4, we need to be thankful that we have enjoyed many years of the good life and then strive to get back there.
To answer the OPs question, if in the mid 90's to early 00's, we would be a .500 or below ball team.

back then. Although, I do believe those coaching staffs would still have found a way to lose one or more of those games, even with the current talent. What we have right now is one of those happy confluences of great coaching and great talent at the same time, which don't happen that often. Enjoy the heyall out of it while it lasts.
