He was talking about during the College Football Playoff era I assume but I could be wrong and would stand corrected.Speaking of 1981,that was my only National Championship game attending.

On Packman's show today an Ohio State guy said

the front 4 of OSU alone (without blitzes) recorded 17 pressures or sacks of TL! And 9 tackles for no gain or loss of our running backs. THAT'S 28 plays of poor blocking of their front 4 in one game. No way to win against a good team.
