I guess they would have to pay just like anyone else, unless it was put in their contract that kids are educated for free as long as they can pass the entrance exam!!!

was it ever actually true that faculty's kids could go to Clemson for free or reduced? Sounds like an urban legend.

Don’t think so. That policy was primarily true at private colleges.

I'm a faculty member, and had/have two daughters at CU (one enrolled now and one already graduated). No break or discount for them. I can't recall there ever being a discount for family of faculty or staff in my 3 decades at Clemson.

I can speak from experience as the child of a faculty member that there was NO discount from the mid 1960s through the mid 1980s.
Well, you could get a 10% discount on books from the bookstore if you had their faculty ID.

They may be "preferred walkons"..
Which means your kid will be on the team and get all the perks... but he has to pay his own tuition/ R&B

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but both of Dabo's sons

were preferred walk ons but Brent's boy both got scholarships so I don't think Dabo's boys count against our scholarship #s. At least that was my understanding.
