Has anyone heard when he will be back?

Brent did not make it seem likely in his interview this week

But who knows? Not as upfront this year about injuries.

If it was indeed an inguinal hernia, it’s hard to say. My friend is a physiatrist, specializing in sports medicine injuries, and he told me if would be doubtful / almost impossible to be back to “game-ready” by 6-8 weeks. Squats, lunches, strenuous activities all prohibited before then. Jamie got scoped what, 5 weeks ago? I’m not sure we will see Jamie with his chinstrap buckled again until 2021. I hope he comes back from senior year 2.0.

Per your doctor friend he could be back for the ACCCG. Definitely the playoffs.

So is brunch still allowed or is that too close to lunch? If I had to skip a meal though, lunch would be my first choice I think!
That auto-correct made me laugh more than it probably should have. I need to go back to bed. Hopefully the injury is not what you are describing.

Never heard that it was a hernia. Heard it was a groin issue that was scoped but I am not his doctor so I don't know all the details. Hopefully he will be back soon. We sure miss him on defense.

If Skalski is gone for the year, our defense will have a flat tire. Very hard to overcome. Venables just isn't good enough to be on the field. Not his fault but that's the plain truth.

You definitely have a drop off in game experience when you have a sophomore in for a grad student. We've seen other players before who just needed a year to get over being 19.

Just would not want him back too soon only for him to go right back out hurt again. Young guys just have to step up! This is why in my opinion having Davis back from his injury is huge. He can occupy some would be blockers for that MLB - whoever it is. Perhaps not give that player as much trash to have to navigate through and enable them to play faster! I think we'll be fine as long as we get at least one of these two back!

His instagram post yesterday hinted as if he was back. Some of the comments from teammates also seemed to indicate this, but who knows.
