AH the wonderful 70's, saturday morning cartoons, big GI Joe with kung fu grip, the freedom train, metal lunchboxes, the harlem Globetrotters and motocross racing on Wide World Of Sports plus I love the concept of health and safety back then with all of the students sitting on the edge of a two story building hanging their feet off.
Life was groovy.

Gotta say, this Mintaka fellow got around Clemson a lot with a camera!

Yep. Maryland was the opponent that we played that year and our hall had a float called Turtle Wax. We rode on a truck and hay trailer with 3 kegs of beer down Main street. What an introduction to college life as a freshman. Go Tigers.

While my memory of that day is somewhat fuzzy for reasons I can't quite explain, I believe this is a picture of the vaunted brothers of Beta Theta Pi. We were actually on our way to our weekly group study session and just happened on the parade.

Remember those days well. Anyone have a photo of the “Bookstore”? Can’t find one anywhere. I was the DJ there in 77-78. Loved that place!

The Bookstore was the first bar I went to when I got there. Oh that squishy, sticky, smelly beer filled carpet they had. Ha Ha Ha Ha !!!

I believe it was yesterday that the 1965 Band Day game was posted. My father was a band director in the Greenville County Schools for many years and took me to my first Clemson game that day. I was 5 and he introduced me to Coach Howard who invited me to come back and play for him. Today's photo was my 1st First Friday Parade. Needless to say both were first of many to come.
